Ratu Rizkitasari Saraswati was born in Jakarta, January 6th 1990. She graduated from Institut Teknologi Bandung Faculty of Art and Design and received her Bachelor of Art on Printmaking in 2013, started her contribution towards numerous exhibition since 2009. Since 2011, she has put her passion towards the making of video performances and performances. On 2013, she became one of the finalists of Indonesia Art Award.
To her, doing art is like a way to escape out of the anxiety that wriggles their way about within herself. This art in its outline is about questioning the authority of oppressors who constantly having a twisted contribution in dominating ourselves both mentally and physically. Through art she want to express that in a way we could liberate ourselves and bring around the concept of one’s own ownership over one’s very life.
